Centers
Why centers?
Centers allow students to learn how to think and problem solve on their own.
Ozobots are small, smart robots that empower learners to code, create and connect the physical & digital worlds.
LittleBits technology kits are composed of electronic building blocks that are color-coded, magnetic, and include lights, buzzers, fans, and wheels.
Students build circuits with these electronic building blocks.
Learning beginning coding using Bee-Bot.
Learning beginning coding using the Bee-bot app on the iPads.
Apps on the iPads reinforce reading skills and vocabulary development.

This app on the iPods allows students to practice spelling words.
Building with Legos teaches kids to think in three dimensions and it develops problem-solving, organization, and planning.

Osmo Newton: Physics meets creative problem solving. Students use creativity and inventive objects like a hand-drawn object or anything around them to guide falling on-screen balls into targeted zones.
Osmo Numbers: Kids arrange physical tiles, including dots and digits, to make numbers and complete levels. Add by putting more tiles, subtract by removing tiles and multiply by connecting tiles together.
Osmo Tangram: Arrange tangible puzzle pieces into matching on-screen shapes. Play with a friend or challenge yourself to more advanced levels as your handy-work lights up with each victory.
Osmo Words: Be the first to guess and spell out the on-screen hidden word by tossing down real-life letters faster than your friends. A related picture gives the clue.
With puppets students can act out stories they have read, make up fantasies, and explore solutions to pretend problems.
There's nothing like reading a good book!
This app challenges students to spell words and put them in ABC order among other things.
